"Azerbaijan and the United States are moving forward on the path of strategic partnership," said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a trilateral meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, mediated by US President Donald Trump, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that a "Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America" will be prepared in the coming months:
"This is a historic achievement for Azerbaijan. Strategic partnership relations with the United States not only create great opportunities, but also carry serious responsibilities. This format covers many areas, including mutual investments, trade, energy, transit, artificial intelligence, defense exchanges, the fight against terrorism and other directions. There are great prospects in all these areas. Therefore, wide opportunities are opening up for Azerbaijan in terms of both development and economic diversification."
