Four people have been rescued from the rubble of buildings destroyed by a strong earthquake in the city of Balikesir in the province of the same name in western Türkiye.
The head of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, wrote about this on the social network X, News.Az informs.
According to him, efforts to rescue another person are ongoing.
