US President Donald Trump says he plans to phone Russian President Vladimir Putin following his talks at the White House today with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, APA reports citing CNN.
“He’s expecting my call when we’re finished with this meeting,” Trump said.
He said he would raise the idea of a trilateral meeting between himself, Putin and Zelensky during the conversation.
“We may or may not have a trilat. If we don’t have a trilat, then the fighting continues, and if we do, we have a good chance — I think if we have a trilat, there’s a good chance of maybe ending it,” Trump said.
