A new service has been launched on the "myGov" platform to further simplify citizens' access to public services, Azernews reports, citing the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.
The newly integrated service enables Azerbaijani citizens to apply for permission to visit the territories liberated from occupation using their personal vehicles, directly through the “myGov” platform. This enhancement streamlines the application process, making it faster and more user-friendly.
Previously, such permits were only available via the “Yolumuz Qarabağa” portal. Now, the service has been fully integrated into the “myGov” platform. Users can navigate to the “Transport” category, select the “Permit for Travel to Liberated Territories” service, and enter their travel destination, date, vehicle, and passenger details.
If a vehicle is already registered under the applicant’s FIN (Personal Identification Number), the system automatically retrieves the relevant information. If not, users can manually enter the required details. Once all information is provided, the application is confirmed via a one-time password (OTP).
Applicants can monitor their permit status and history in the “History” section of the platform and cancel their permit if needed.
It’s important to note that a maximum of nine passengers, including the driver, can participate in the trip. Additionally, the vehicle must be a privately owned car with official state registration.
The integration of this and similar services into the “myGov” platform allows citizens to access essential public services through a single, centralized system, enhancing the overall efficiency and convenience of digital government services in Azerbaijan.
