The administration of Donald Trump has approved the sale of 3,350 long-range, guided ERAM missiles to Ukraine, APA reports, citing The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
The contract is worth $850 million. It is reported that the missiles will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces within six weeks.
The bulk of the costs have been borne by Ukraine's European allies. The procurement is not limited to missiles, but also includes other military equipment.
