The number of people murdered by Mikhail Popkov, known in Russia as the “Angarsk Maniac,” has reached 89, APA reports, citing TASS.
The victims include 88 women and one man.
Already serving a life sentence, the “Angarsk Maniac” confessed to killing two more young women in 2008. A criminal case has been launched in connection with the fact.
It should be noted that two years ago, the Russian serial killer expressed a desire to fight in Ukraine.
