Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan gave an interview to TGRT News TV channel, APA reports.
During the interview, Fidan touched upon such issues as the Gaza crisis, the Russia-Ukraine war, as well as some agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Fidan said that a number of agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the agreement between Azerbaijan and the United States, have created a very positive scene for regional peace.
"From the first day of the incident, when the Americans came and started talking to our Azerbaijani brothers, this issue was discussed with us and progressed through consultations," Fidan said.
The Foreign Minister said that the declaration on the Zangezur corridor means the acceptance in principle of the fundamental demands put forward by the Azerbaijani side from the beginning.
He also said that the format of the Zangezur corridor has not been finalized, but rather has been accepted as a concept and the parties will discuss the issue among themselves.
