The remains of martyr serviceman Sumbat Aliyev, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been laid to rest, APA’s local bureau reports.
His remains were buried at the cemetery in the Ashagi Kurdmahmutlu village of Fuzuli district.

The remains of Sumbat Nudrat Aliyev, who was considered missing during military operations in 1993 in the territory of Qajar village, Fuzuli district, but whose body was later found, were handed over to his family today in the Fuzuli district, APA’s local bureau reports.
A farewell ceremony for the martyr is currently being held.
The farewell ceremony is attended by district authorities, public representatives, military personnel, local residents, and the martyr’s relatives.
