"High-Level Observer Day" held as part of "Eternal Brotherhood – IV" exercise -VIDEO

On September 15, the "High-Level Observer Day" was held in Baku as part of the multinational joint special forces exercise Eternal Brotherhood – IV, with the participation of special forces from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Türkiye, MoD told APA.

Event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, other officials of the ministry, senior guests from the participating countries, as well as military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan.

At the outset, a briefing was held on a terrain model covering the general course of the exercise, the objectives of the assigned tasks, and the sequence of their execution.

Subsequently, at the training ground, special operations tasks were carried out in coordination with other branches of the armed forces.

The exercise concluded with parachute jumps performed under the flags of the participating countries.

The Chief of the General Staff highly praised the course of the exercise and the combat readiness of the servicemen, wishing the participants success in their future service.

It was emphasized that the exercise holds strategic importance for conducting joint special operations among the special forces of friendly and allied countries, facilitating experience sharing, improving coordination skills, strengthening international security, and safeguarding peace in the region.

The Chief of the General Staff also presented gifts to the representatives of the countries taking part in the joint exercise.

Finally, a ceremonial concert program was offered to the participants.

It should be noted that delegations from Belarus, Italy, and Hungary took part in the Eternal Brotherhood – IV exercise in the capacity of observers.
