Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has announced information for October regarding operations conducted in the liberated territories, ANAMA told APA.
According to ANAMA, 406 anti-personnel mines, 364 anti-tank mines, and 12.298 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found in Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankandi, Kalbajar, Khojavand, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan, as well as in the liberated villages of Baghanis Ayrim, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli, and Gizilhajili in the Gazakh district.
It was noted that 7.022,1 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
