Azerbaijan to hold military marches in major cities for fifth Victory Day anniversary

According to the plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, military marches accompanied by military orchestras will be held in the central streets, avenues, and squares of Baku, Sumgayit, Nakhchivan, Khankandi, Shusha, and Lachin, APA reports, citing Ministry of Defense’s Press Service.

On November 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., servicemen will march along the following routes:

In Baku:

Alley of Martyrs– “Flame Towers” Complex – “Icherisheher” metro station – Gosha Gala Gates – Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre – Azneft Square – Bahram Gur Monument;

G. Musabayov Park – Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev Street – Huseyn Javid Avenue – Huseyn Javid Park – Parliament Avenue – Martyrs’ Alley;

“Olimpik Star” Sports and Entertainment Center – Samad Vurghun Street – Officers’ Park – Baku State Circus – Heydar Aliyev Palace – I. Nasimi Monument – Neftchilar Avenue.

In Sumgayit:

Seaside Boulevard area.

In Nakhchivan:

From the intersection of Dilgam Pishavari and Aziz Aliyev streets and Heydar Aliyev Avenue to “Victory Park.”

In Khankandi, Lachin, and Shusha:

Central streets and avenues of the cities.
