Next year's non-working days have been announced.


The Board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has approved working hours standards and the production calendar for 2026.

The working hours standards for 2026 state that, in accordance with the Labor Code and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 362 "On Determining the Days of Novruz, Ramadan, and Eid for 2026" dated December 2, 2025, the following days in 2026 are not considered working days:
January 1 and 2 – New Year's Day;
January 20 – National Day of Mourning;
March 8 – Women's Day;
March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 – Novruz;
March 20 and 21 – Ramadan;
May 9 – Victory Day over Fascism;
May 27 and 28 – Eid;
May 28 – Independence Day;
June 15 – National Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani People;
June 26 – Azerbaijan Armed Forces Day;
November 8 – Victory Day;
November 9 – Azerbaijan State Flag Day;
December 31 – World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.

In accordance with the Labor Code and the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, in 2026, with a five-day workweek, March 9, 25, 26, 27, and 30, May 11 and 29, and November 10 will be days off, and with a six-day workweek, March 25 and 26, May 29, and November 10 will be days off.
February 2026 has 28 calendar days, and there are 365 calendar days in a year.
