Russian President Vladimir Putin received Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, who is on a visit to Moscow, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Today, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was asked whether Putin discussed the fate of Russian military bases in Syria with the Syrian Foreign Minister.
Peskov refused to answer the question.
It should be noted that there are two Russian military bases in Syria. These are the Khmeimim military air base and the naval base in Tartus. The future fate of Russian military bases in Syria remains unknown after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime at the end of last year.
