Azerbaijan relocates another group of former IDPs to villages of Khojavend and Jabrayil districts, keys presented-PHOTO-UPDATED

The next resettlement convoys have arrived in Sos village of the Khojavend district and Horovlu village of the Jabrayil district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

Today 24 families (99 people) were resettled in Sos village, while 19 families (70 people) were relocated to Horovlu village.

Keys to apartments were handed over to the 19 families resettled in Horovlu village. Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony.

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return process is continuing to the territories liberated from occupation, APA reports.

Today, those who have migrated to the villages of Sos in the Khojavend region and Horovlu in the Jabrayil region are families who have temporarily settled in various regions of the republic, mainly in hostels, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 24 families - 99 people have been relocated to the village of Sos in the Khojavend region, and 19 families - 70 people to the village of Horovlu in the Jabrayil region, a total of 43 families (169 people), of which:

To the village of Shosh in the Khojavend region, a total of 24 families (99 people), including:

From the Beylagan region - 9 families (37 people);

From the Fuzuli region - 5 families (21 people);

From the city of Baku - 5 families (21 people);

From the Absheron region - 1 family (5 people);

From Imishli district - 1 family (4 people);

From Guba district - 1 family (4 people);

From Bilasuvar district - 1 family (4 people);

From Sumgayit city - 1 family (3 people).

Total resettled - 85 families (360 people),

To Horovlu village of Jabrayil district, a total of 19 families (70 people), including:

From Baku city - 9 families (37 people);

From Bilasuvar district - 5 families (18 people);

From Absheron district - 2 families (9 people);

From Sumgayit city - 2 families (4 people);

From Shirvan city - 1 family (2 people).

A total of 191 families (762 people) were resettled,

thus, taking into account the resettlement on 24.12.2025, a total of 6,206 families (24,729 people) will be resettled in 31 settlements in 1 city and 10 districts.
