The court proceedings in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan, charged under articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other grave crimes, scheduled for December 26, have been postponed, APA reports.
Emil Babishov, the defense attorney of the accused, addressed the court, stating that he would be unable to participate in the proceedings due to health-related issues and formally requested that the hearing be postponed.
The court reviewed and granted the defense attorney’s request.
The next court hearing has been scheduled for December 30.
