The period for obtaining a permit for the construction of a solar power plant in the area of renewable energy sources in Baku’s Garadagh has been extended, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision on this matter.
According to the decision, the period for obtaining a permit for the construction of a solar power plant on the land plot designated as an area of renewable energy sources located in the Pirsaat settlement of the Garadagh district of Baku, as defined by the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision dated December 25, 2023, titled “On the designation of a state-owned land plot within the administrative territory of Baku city as a renewable energy zone,” has been extended for one year in accordance with the Law “On the Use of Renewable Energy Sources in Electricity Production.”
When a construction permit is granted, the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture must inform the Cabinet of Ministers from that date; if the permit is not granted within the established period, the Committee must inform the Cabinet of Ministers within three days from the date the period expires.
