Second round of Iran-US talks concludes in Oman - UPDATED

The second round of Iran–U.S. talks in Oman has concluded, APA reports, citing Tasnim.

The second round of negotiations has ended.

At present, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, is holding consultations with Oman’s foreign minister.

During the previous round, the head of Oman’s Foreign Ministry acted as a mediator in the exchange of messages between the parties.

US-Iran talks have begun in Oman, APA reports.

The meeting is being attended by US President's Special Representative Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The Iranian delegation is led by the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

These talks are the first official meeting between the parties after a break of several months following the 12-day war between Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran in June.
