Rosatom is evacuating Russian specialists from the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran, said Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, a total of 198 people will be evacuated: “The employees are being transported by bus. They are expected to travel across almost the entire country within 2.5–3 days and then depart for Russia from Yerevan airport.”
Likhachev emphasized that the evacuation began 20 minutes after the attack on the nuclear power plant.
He noted that developments around the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant are unfolding according to undesirable scenarios.
