Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler has called on NATO to support countries that cannot become members of the European Union, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The minister said that otherwise, the EU’s approach would pose a threat to Europe’s security and resilience.
“The fact is that Türkiye, with its strong defense capabilities and industry, can contribute more to Europe’s security and defense. We know that many of our European friends are aware of this, and we believe that others will also analyze this very well and adopt a more rational approach,” the minister noted.
