“Digital development creates new opportunities for the media. Information is disseminated more widely and more rapidly," said Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samaddin Asadov at the opening ceremony of the 3rd Forum titled “Public Processes in the Media Sphere,” APA reports.
He noted that a new stage of digital development has begun in the country amid ongoing changes:
“Broadband internet networks across the country create conditions for better access to information. Artificial intelligence tools help to process large volumes of information more effectively.”
He also called on the media to be more attentive:
“The new conditions created by the application of artificial intelligence further increase the role of the media. This is because it can sometimes lead to the spread of false and misleading information. We must cooperate together against harmful information.”
