President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva review conditions created in individual houses in Shukurbeyli village

On May 9, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the conditions created in individual houses built in the village of Shukurbeyli, APA reports.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed about the work carried out in the village.

It was noted that a total of 2,522 people (615 families), including residents of the villages of Shikhaliaghali and Dejal, as well as the settlement of Mahmudlu in the district, are planned to be resettled to Shukurbeyli. At the initial stage, 635 individual houses have been commissioned. Of them, 615 are intended for residents and 20 for official use. The houses consist of 2, 3, 4 and 5 rooms.

A number of measures have been implemented in the village to ensure comfortable living conditions and address social issues for residents. Two nurseries-kindergartens with 80 places each, a medical center, a music school, a club-community center, and an administrative building for local executive structures have been built there.

A 35/10 kV electrical substation has been constructed in the village of Shukurbeyli, and electricity, natural gas, drinking water, communication, internet and IPTV networks have been established, while roads have been asphalted.
