President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the construction of the 150-bed Jabrayil District Central Hospital on May 9, APA reports.
Minister of Health Teymur Musayev informed the head of state and the First Lady about the work carried out and planned.
It should be noted that the foundation of the hospital building was laid by President Ilham Aliyev in 2021. The area of the hospital is nearly 5 hectares. The hospital will include therapy, surgery, pediatrics, maternity, infectious diseases, anesthesiology-resuscitation, hemodialysis and other departments. In addition, a polyclinic, radiology-diagnostics, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation departments, as well as a clinical diagnostic laboratory will be established. Currently, along with the main building, the construction of infectious diseases, hemodialysis and polyclinic buildings, an emergency medical station, as well as the Jabrayil District Hygiene and Epidemiology Center and other facilities is ongoing.
