More than 100 modular schools are planned to be built in various regions of Azerbaijan this year, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev told journalists, APA reports.
The minister noted that the renovation and reconstruction of schools are being carried out based on a certain sequence and algorithm: “First of all, we try to renovate large-scale schools, because these schools affect the educational lives of a greater number of children. Therefore, our main focus is on large schools. As for small schools, we prioritize the construction of modular-type schools. This year, the construction of more than 100 such modular schools is planned in various regions,” the minister said.
