Anacláudia Rossbach, Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, thanked President Ilham Aliyev for closely following the preparations for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.
Rossbach shared the remarks on her X account.
“Thank you, H.E. President Ilham Aliyev, for following the preparations for WUF13 closely. Next week, Baku will play an important role in bringing global attention to the future of cities, housing, and sustainable urban development,” she said.
Note that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed the work carried out in connection with the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum 13, dedicated to the theme “Housing for All: Safe and Resilient Cities and Human Settlements,” which will be held on May 17-22 in the area of the Baku Olympic Stadium on May 12.
