Final completion works underway at Ganja Memorial Complex

Final completion works are underway at the Ganja Memorial Complex, said Ramil Jahangirov, head of department at the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, during the media tour organized to the Memorial Complex, APA’s local bureau reports.

It was noted that the Complex, which will cover a total area of 4 hectares, will include a two-story museum building and an exhibition hall. The exposition related to the crimes committed against civilians by the Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War will be displayed here, and the locations of the destroyed buildings will also be presented to visitors.

A conference hall will also be established within the complex. Landscaping work will be carried out in the park area, with around 700 trees and more than 12,000 decorative shrubs and flowers to be planted.

R. Jahangirov stated that final completion works on the construction of the museum building, the organization of the exposition, and the landscaping of the area are currently underway.

Note that President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the work carried out at the Ganja Memorial Complex on August 20.
