Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Aykhan Javadov secured the gold medal at the U20 World Championships in Samokov, Bulgaria, APA reports.
In the final bout, Aykhan Javadov triumphed over Armenia’s Yurik Mkhitaryan in the men’s 60kg weight division, earning the top podium spot.
Javadov, who prevailed over his opponent with a score of 12:5, crowned the world champion.
