French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk have arrived in Chisinau, APA reports, citing Moldovan media.
The visit took place at the invitation of President Maia Sandu on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.
During a joint press conference, Maia Sandu said that there is no alternative to Europe for Moldova.
Emmanuel Macron stated that Moldova deserves their support.
Friedrich Merz said that the doors of the European Union are open for Moldova.
Donald Tusk noted that Europe will be stronger with Moldova.
