Next year, it is forecasted that 4 billion AZN 985.8 million will be allocated for education expenditures in the state budget, it has been reflected in the Ministry of Finance's "Statement on the initial indicators of the state and consolidated budgets of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026", APA reports.
Thus, the specific share of education expenditures in the budget will be 12 percent.
Education expenditures will be AZN 48.5 million, or 1% more in comparison with 2025.
In 2025, AZN 4 billion 937.3 million is planned for education expenditures in the budget.
