Successful talks held between French and Azerbaijani diplomats in Baku, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagoutte posted on her "X" account, APA reports.
The ambassador stated that the discussions were a continuation of the recent meetings between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and France.
She noted that Bertrand Buchwalter, the Diplomatic Advisor to the French President for European Affairs, and Brice Roquefeuil, Director for Europe at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Azerbaijan.
"The President’s Diplomatic Advisor for European Affairs, Bertrand Buchwalter, and the Director for Europe at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brice Roquefeuil, arrived in Baku to discuss Azerbaijan–France relations and regional issues with Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, as well as Elchin Amirbayov, the President’s Special Envoy,” the ambassador added.
