Iran allows ships from friendly countries to pass through Strait of Hormuz

Iran has allowed ships belonging to countries it considers friendly to transit the Strait of Hormuz. Specifically, Russia, India, and China will be able to use the strait, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced, APA reports.

"We have allowed passage through the Strait of Hormuz to several countries we consider friendly: for example, Russia, India, Iraq, China, and Pakistan. We see no point in allowing our adversaries to use the strait," the Iranian minister emphasized.
