Moscow: Drone factory to be jointly established with Japan in Ukraine will be a legitimate target

Russia considers cooperation between Japan and Ukraine in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as an open act of hostility, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

According to her, taking into account Ukraine’s systematic criminal provocations using UAVs against civilian targets in Russia, Moscow views this activity, openly supported by official authorities, as hostile and harmful to Russia’s security interests.

Zakharova said that joint UAV production facilities to be established in Ukraine with Japan would be legitimate military targets for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that Japan’s drone manufacturer Terra Drone Corporation has announced that it signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine’s UAV producer, Amazing Drones.
