A decline has been observed in major assets in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.
On the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin decreased by 1.05% over the past 24 hours to $77,068.
The price of Ethereum fell by 1.79% to $2,294, BNB decreased by 0.60% to $625, and Bitcoin Cash declined by 0.27% to $448.
Monero dropped by 2.14% to $377, Zcash fell by 3.27% to $340, and Bittensor decreased by 0.80% to $249.
Among gold-backed assets, the price of Tether Gold declined by 1.01% to $4,653, while PAX Gold fell by 1.18% to $4,650.
The CMC20 index, which reflects the overall market performance, also decreased by 1.86% to 155.15.
According to analysts, the decline observed in the market is mainly due to profit-taking by investors, weakening risk appetite, and increasing uncertainty in global financial markets.
