The total turnover of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to 15.4 billion manats in January–April this year, the BSE said, APA-Economics reports.
During the reporting period, the number of transactions concluded on the BSE totaled 8,082. The total volume of transactions on government securities amounted to 506.3 million manats, transactions on notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan totaled 454.6 million manats, corporate securities reached 168.9 million manats, and mortgage bonds amounted to 307.5 million manats.
The largest share of turnover on the exchange accounted for repo operations. Thus, in January–April, the total volume of transactions concluded on these instruments amounted to 13 billion 986.4 million manats.
