The upward trend across major assets in the cryptocurrency market continued over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.
On the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of Bitcoin, the market’s leading cryptocurrency, increased by 0.55% to 81,232 US dollars, while its market capitalization amounted to 1.63 trillion US dollars.
PAX Gold, known as digital gold, rose by 1.01% to 4,713 US dollars, while Tether Gold increased by 1.04% to 4,714 US dollars.
Meanwhile, the price of Ethereum, the market’s second-largest cryptocurrency, on the contrary, declined by 0.95% to 2,312 US dollars.
BNB increased by 1.59% to 663 US dollars, while Monero rose by 1.38% to 413 US dollars.
The total market capitalization increased by 0.47% over the past 24 hours to 2.71 trillion US dollars.
According to analysts, the positive dynamics in the market over the past 24 hours are mainly related to the increase in investors’ risk appetite, optimistic expectations regarding inflation indicators in the United States, and the strengthening of demand for digital assets amid the rise in gold prices.
