Living in peace with Armenia creates a foundation for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani MP Parvana Valiyeva stated during a session held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Olaylar informs.
Speaking about the opportunities created by the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Valiyeva highlighted that peace will open new avenues for tourism and investment.
The MP also highlighted Azerbaijanchr("39")s strategic geographic position, describing the country as a gateway between Europe and Asia. She noted that Azerbaijan provides favorable conditions for investors and is a safe environment:
"We share borders with both Russia and Iran, where wars are ongoing. Yet Azerbaijan remains a safe country. We support investors - both individuals and legal entities - by offering various incentives and tax exemptions. In fact, investors in Azerbaijan are exempt from taxes for up to 30 years," Valiyeva noted.
