Azerbaijan has been humiliated in the US media for years, President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the media regarding the results of his visit to the US, APA reports.
The President of Azerbaijan said that President Donald Trump also said that fake news was published in The Washington Post, The New York Times and a number of other media outlets: "These media outlets spread rumors about Azerbaijan, published offensive articles, and created confusion between the United States and Azerbaijan. This was often the result of the influence of the Armenian lobby. This group is currently opposing the interests of Armenia. For example, instead of welcoming the events taking place today with joy, they are disappointed because their agenda is different. These people are directly against peace. Because their ideas, opinions, recommendations and funds affect the processes and harm Armenia itself. If it were not for such groups, Armenia would be a more developed, stable and systematic country. Armenia simply lost time. Armenia occupied our territories, it could not maintain the occupation forever. As a result, they lost 30 years of development."
