White House releases schedule for Trump–Zelenskyy meeting in Washington

The White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday at 5:15 p.m. GMT, with the talks expected to last about an hour.

The bilateral meeting will focus on efforts to settle the conflict in Ukraine. A multilateral session involving Trump and key European leaders is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. GMT. Attendees include French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, News.Az reports, citing The White House.

The talks come after Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska and subsequent calls with Zelenskyy, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and several European leaders. Zelenskyy has said his discussions with Trump in Washington will center on “the details of ending the conflict.”
