In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the liberated territories continues, APA reports.

Those relocating to Khidirli village of the Aghdam district are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 68 families — 252 people in total — have been resettled in Khidirli village.

The residents returning to their native land expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care they are receiving.

They also conveyed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the lands from occupation, and offered prayers for mercy to our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.

It should be noted that currently, in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, along with the former internally displaced persons being resettled, more than 50,000 people live in the region. These include those engaged in the implementation of various projects, employees of local branches of state institutions, as well as staff working in newly restored healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities.
