Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Kazakhstan is an important event not only for the development of bilateral relations but also for the entire Turkic world, Kazakh political analyst Almat Tokein told APA.
According to the expert, the visit demonstrates the maturity of trust, mutual respect, and political dialogue between the two countries.
“Today, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are states that set the tone for regional cooperation. Every high-level visit further strengthens the strategic partnership built on brotherhood and mutual support,” he added.
Tokein noted that the visit’s agenda covers key areas such as the economy, transportation, energy, the development of the Middle Corridor, expansion of logistics, humanitarian cooperation, and the Caspian Sea’s shallowing.
The analyst said that during the business forum held within the visit, concrete projects ranging from investments to industrial cooperation will be discussed: “President Ilham Aliyev’s visit embodies political consistency and mutual trust. Regular meetings of the heads of state provide a real boost to cooperation.”
Almat Tokein emphasized that the results of the visit will further strengthen the “Astana–Baku” strategic axis and create new opportunities in the fields of economy, transportation, and energy: “Most importantly, this visit will once again prove that there is sincere friendship and respect between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, and these relations continue to grow stronger year by year.”
