Azerbaijan conducts international AI market analysis, develops advanced chatbots

Azerbaijan has approved the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence for 2025-2028, a large-scale roadmap aimed at building a sustainable artificial intelligence ecosystem, said Salar Imamaliyev, Chief Commercial Officer of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, during his speech at the “StrategEast: Eurasian Forum on State and IT” held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

He said that the main directions of the strategy are the creation of infrastructure, the development of human capital and ensuring that artificial intelligence benefits both the economy and society: “This is not an easy task, especially in terms of technological development, there are many challenges ahead. We have already conducted an international market analysis, aligned measurement and evaluation methodologies with global standards, and coordinated digital coding between state agencies. Four of these standards have already been adopted and are currently serving citizens. To accelerate this process, we have established the Academy of Artificial Intelligence. This is a key stage in our national strategy. Its mission is to form world-class AI practices, develop teaching and research directions. The curriculum is aligned with the programs of leading universities such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon. But our mission does not end there. It goes beyond the boundaries of educational institutions and enters everyday life. Our systems provide users with legally reliable and accurate results with an accuracy of 98%, not speculative results,” Salar Imamaliyev said.

He noted that IDDA is developing artificial intelligence-based chatbots with the international IT company.

Together with EPAM Systems, we are integrating artificial intelligence-based chatbots and content-aware systems,” the CEO emphasized.

Salar Imamaliyev added that these systems understand the intentions of citizens, guide them, make suggestions, and even take proactive action to resolve issues.
