The White House confirmed the upcoming November 10 meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Syrian Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement at a regular press briefing, APA reports.
"I can confirm that this meeting will take place on Monday here at the White House," Leavitt said in response to a question about the meeting. According to her account, the upcoming meeting is part of Trump's diplomatic efforts to "achieve peace."
