Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu met with Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing TASS.
During the meeting, Shoigu said that the situation in the Caucasus requires constant attention.
"It is important for us to synchronize our hours. Everything related to the latest events, various developments in the region - in the Caucasus as a whole, in the South Caucasus - requires our constant attention and consultations," Shoigu stressed.
A. Grigoryan, in turn, expressed his readiness to share details regarding the situation in the region and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet.
It should be noted that the Shoigu-Grigoryan talks took place today in Moscow within the framework of the meeting of the CIS Security Council secretaries. It was reported that Shoigu will also meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ramil Usubov.
