Student injures classmate and teachers during lesson in Russia

At least two children have been seriously injured in a crossbow attack at School No. 32 in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, APA reports, citing foreign media.

According to reports, the injured include the attacker, his classmate, and several teachers at the school.

A 9th-grade student reportedly targeted a teacher, but the arrow struck his classmate. He then used pepper spray against teachers in the school corridor and jumped out of a window, breaking his legs. One of the arrows hit his classmate.

According to the information, the arrow struck a 15-year-old girl in the head, and she was hospitalized with a penetrating injury. Both individuals were taken to a hospital in Chelyabinsk.

Three teachers were also affected in the incident. They were diagnosed with chemical burns to the eyes and face.

The incident reportedly occurred during class hours. An investigation is underway.
