After the discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.

At today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), the draft law “On the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024” was submitted for discussion, APA reports.
The state budget revenues for 2024 amounted to 37,161.8 million manat, which is 2.1 percent higher than the approved forecast; state budget expenditures amounted to 37,713.6 million manat, which is 5.1 percent lower than the approved forecast; accordingly, the state budget deficit was 551.8 million manat, which is 6.1 times lower than the approved forecast.
