In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan's revenues from main oil pipelines amounted to 523,480.1 thousand manat, which is 2.7% less than the previous year, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, in the corresponding period of 2024, the said indicator was at the level of 538,277.6 thousand manat.
It should be noted that in January-June of this year, 18,513 thousand tons of oil were transported through oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 3.8% less than the previous year. 75.2% of the transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipeline (BTC), and 13,924.9 thousand tons of oil were transported through this pipeline during the reporting period, which is 3.8% less than the previous year.
It should be noted that in 2024, Azerbaijan's revenues from main oil pipelines amounted to 1,058,072.5 thousand manat, which is 4% less than the previous year.
Last year, 38,752.1 thousand tons of oil were transported through oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 2.5% less than the previous year. 76% of the transportation was carried out through BTC, and during the reporting period, 29,470.9 thousand tons of oil were transported through this pipeline, which is 2.4% less than the previous year.
