Economic growth in Azerbaijan this year stood at 1%

In January-August of this year, the country produced 83 billion 37.8 million manats of gross domestic product (GDP), APA-Economics reports, citing State Statistical Committee.

In other words, during this period, the country's economic growth amounted to 1%.

According to the information, the added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.1%, while the non-oil and gas sector increased by 2.6%.

34.9% of GDP production was accounted for by industry, 10.3% by trade; repair of vehicles, 7.1% by transport and warehousing, 6.3% by agriculture, forestry and fishing, 6.3% by construction, 2.8% by tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.8% by information and communication, 20.7% by other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports accounted for 9.8% of GDP.

GDP per capita was 8,111.3 manats.
